We are excited to reconnect with our community for another “Around The Fire” — Community Call on X Space as we hit the halfway mark of 2024! We are looking forward to diving into various topics that matter most to the protocol.
We are pleased to share with you that the audit for Horizon Protocol’s Futures Account Management System (FAMS) has been successfully completed. The audit encompasses all the new code implemented to support the integration of the highly anticipated FAMS, which enables many features such as stop and limit orders on the Horizon Protocol Futures Exchange.
Chainlink Automation is currently evolving into its 2.0 version with enhanced features and functionalities. This update offers improved security, reliability, and several other benefits, which you can review here. All mainnet registries, version 1.3 and older, will be fully deprecated by May 31, 2024. If you are using an auto claim Chainlink Keeper, please migrate your upkeeps to the latest version as soon as possible to ensure uninterrupted service and fully take advantage of enhanced features.
Horizon Protocol reaches the final stage of development before the mainnet release! This latest version introduces the Horizon Futures Account Management System that will enable new essential functionalities such as conditional orders (limit, stop, take profit, stop loss), cross market margin management, and a multiple command execution system that allow traders to conduct multiple operations in a single transaction.
As we approach the final stages of integrating exciting new features into Horizon Futures’ second testnet, we are pleased to share that our code is undergoing a thorough audit done by AstraSec. The audit encompasses all the new code implemented to support the integration of the highly anticipated Futures Account Management System (FAMS), which enables many features such as stop and limit orders on the Horizon Protocol Futures Exchange. For those unfamiliar, the FAMS is a middle-layer smart contract system that allows the trader to intelligently manage their margin across perpetual futures markets, enables a suite conditional orders (limit, stop, take-profit, and stop-loss orders), and allows for the combining of many ordered commands or actions into a single on-chain transaction. The new system should greatly empower the capabilities of the trader while simultaneously improving UX and the time needed to perform multi-step operations.
In our ongoing efforts to ensure the safest trading environment for our users, we are pleased to announce a new bug bounty program for Horizon Protocol mainnet, hosted by HackenProof. As we continue to build and improve Horizon Protocol, we invite you to contribute your expertise to help ensure the security of our systems.
