Announcing Our New Auditor: PeckShield

We are delighted to share an update on our journey towards launching a decentralized perpetual futures exchange, filled with thrilling functionalities. While we’re making remarkable progress on the development, there are still some milestones ahead. As we reach mid-year, it’s time for a routine external audit, a vital step to ensure the safety and integrity of our code. This process will span several months, reflecting our commitment to delivering a secure and reliable platform.

To achieve this, we are pleased to announce our partnership with PeckShield for a comprehensive security audit. PeckShield is an industry-leading blockchain security company founded in 2018 by former Qihoo 360 Chief Scientist, Xuxian Jiang. They are a trusted name in blockchain security with major investors like Gaorong Capital. Their global team comprises experienced professionals from renowned security groups at companies like Qihoo 360, Microsoft, Intel, Juniper, and Alibaba. Through diligent monitoring on Twitter, detecting and alerting against malicious activity, exploits, hacks, and scams, they protect crypto users. By proactively examining smart contracts and blockchain protocols, they stay ahead of scammers, identifying vulnerabilities. Their track record and expertise make them an ideal choice for this critical task, and with their expertise and professionalism, we trust their high-standard auditing results.

The scope of the audit will cover everything that is coming this year. This includes all the elements that are currently in development, e.g. Horizon Genesis and Horizon Exchange, as well as the future updates outlined in our roadmap. The auditing process was initiated two weeks ago, and three members of the PeckShield auditing team are now assisting us in searching for any potential code vulnerabilities. The anticipated release of the initial auditing report is somewhere in July or August.
